Nice Thousand Trails Park. Follow directions in directory or website to avoid low bridge. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The sites on the lake are very nice but fill up fast. The new 50 amp sites are in a not as attractive open area which was wet when we arrived so we moved to a 30 amp site. Nice park overlooking lake. Verizon aircard worked here.

Bass Lake East Coast Resort is a membership campground. We used ROD membership...Would have given it a 10 if they had 50 amp. Beautiful grounds and plenty of amenities...Separate clubhouse and pools for adults and kids. Good variety of planned activities. Great cafe with good dinners at very reasonable prices. Some campgrounds calling themselves resort are not deserving of it. This place definitely is. Highly recommended

Large membership campground. Older facility but well kept. Expect to see more than the usual number of kids...family oriented. $3/night charge for 50 amp for ROD (Resorts pf Distinction) members. Some sites require long hoses/cables due to location of hookups. Large lake, nice nature trail around lake. Good size sites on grass.

Sites are well laid out pull throughs with grass in between. A few sites are not as level as could be but they appear to be working on those. We would have rated it higher but for the 1/4 mile of dusty gravel road into the campground. Your rig will have a nice coat of dust on it. The washboard road is not too bad if you go slow. Nice views and very clean newer campground. Good electric, 30/50 amps at every site and sewer on most but not all sites. Camp wi-fi is free and works well and our Verizon aircard worked well here too. Cell tower visible nearby. Rate reflects weekly rate discount. We are staying a week. Good place to relax and chill after a busy month on the road.

Friendly helpful staff....gravel pull thru sites with 50 amp available. Plenty of grass. Cable TV. Wi-Fi was very slow but Verizon Aircard signal was strong and fast. Shade trees on all site. Rate reflects Passport America plus $2 for 50 amp. Park was full on a Sunday night. We would stay again when in area.

Most sites are pull through and are long enough for big rigs. All sites are gravel...A little grass here and there. There is a nice restaurant that is busy on site as well as a motel. They are new log construction. The view from all the sites is fantastic. There is a heated pool and a hot tub. The only negative is that many sites do not have sewer. Good 50 Amp electric. We would definitely stay here again...convenient to Cody and much nicer than the CG's we saw within Cody, not to mention less costly.

Among campgrounds with no hookups, this has to be one of the best. You can see the tower from the sites which are pull thru and can accommodate big rigs. Most sites sit under shade of huge Cottonwood trees. There are two bathrooms, but no showers. here is potable water available. We arrived mid day and got our pick of sites, by nightfall the place was full. We plan to spend 3 more nights in this scenic and pretty campground. Rate is Golden Age Rate.

All sites pull through, although some sites are a bit narrow...There is grass between sites. No shade.. All sites are level with full hookups. Peter and Barbara are very helpful and keep a clean park. Park was full all 4 nights we were there. Wi-Fi was weak and we could not connect, so we used our Verizon aircard. Rate is Good Sam rate. Easy off on exit 23 of Interstate 90.

This is a membership campground...Staff was friendly and efficient. Park has strong and fast WiFi. New security gates which they close at 10 p.m., with a pass code. We stayed here using ROD. Rate shown is $3/night for 50 amp. Park is convenient to area attractions. All RV sites save 10 have full hookups...many with 50 amp. Some sites on all grass and some on gravel but all sites have grass area...Some are shaded. Dusty gravel interior roads..Nice pool. No cable but Hi Def over the air selection is good.

Very clean and well run park. Most sites are next to trees. Park was full in June...glad we made reservations. Sites are a little narrow but we have 4 slides and it worked for us. Very well kept. We would camp here again.

The back in sites are very narrow, so reserve a pull thru. These have grass and are wide enough for larger rigs. Park is clean and well kept...One of the better Campground gift shops you will find. Nice views from park. Friendly staff. Heated pool. Tent sites surrounded on 3 sides by privacy fences. Try the Capitol Reef Inn a mile or so east of the campground...good food.

For those with Military ID only... Campground was well kept. Nice doggy park. Park was full and some rigs in overflow. We asked to stay an extra day and we were accomodated. Side by Side camping, but we do not see that as a problem. Camp host in site 1 when office is closed. We would definitely bring our motorhome here again. Reservations suggested

Park is fairly new, clean and well kept..no pool but there is a hot tub behind the Motel...30/50 amp full hookup pull through gravel sites, no shade...Test the receptacle, we found our first had an open neutral, reported it and moved to another site...Staff is extremely helpful and courteous...Nice views of the mountain... Good speed on Verizon aircard. This park is a great value and we definitely would return.

Passport America rate for 4 nights.Large pull thru 50 amp sites with lots of grass.Nice view of Sawtelle Mountain. 14 miles to West Yellowstone entrance. Free popcorn in large Laundromat which houses RV office. If you stay here be sure to take the gravel road up Sawtelle Mountain. The view from 10,000 ft. is amazing.3 states and 140 miles on a clear day.Gorgeous mountain views of nearby snow peaks. A great value at Passport America rate...$17 includes 50 amps and tax....Cable is no charge with 70 channels. Friendly clerk. The business next door is not an issue with me, it's far enough away...Pull thrus have concrete patio but most have no grass or shade...The tent sites are very nice with covered picnic table. Park is well kept. Cabins appear to be fairly new. We would stay here again.

We got the free night they promised on website, but this place is a dump. There are two large dogs tied up on site who bark any time they see another dog. The guy in next site complained about the dogs barking early morning and was told "that's your problem". He left early. There is no grass, just gravel. Good TV reception, narrow sites, 50 amp service available. We will not stay here again.

Beautiful resort and clubhouse. Not busy in May. Most of the sites were closed. We used it as a base to visit Tombstone and Cochise Stronghold. Cable was $2/night...no 50 amp service available. For Members only

For those with Military ID only....Very well kept campground..good 50 Amp Service. The Base Exchange and Commissary are huge. Take a bus tour of the 4000 plus airplanes stored there. Trees provide little shade as they are small.

A great value with Passport America. Gravel sites very nicely landscaped considering it is in the desert. No cable working and I did not see showers or bathrooms except in truck stop. Great overnight stop...have a nature trail. New owner. We would stop again overnight...cheap and clean level sites.

We stay here anytime we are in the area, but that is always in the off season when park is almost empty...it is one of our favorites. There are amenities galore. A beautiful new large clubhouse with hot tub. Bar and Restaurant only open on certain days. Large separate building with swimming pool and bowling alleys. We stay here with ROD Membership, no charge except for 50 Amp. Sites in the older part have concrete pads and are under large shade trees and that is where we stay. We enjoy walking the dogs through the trails in the woods and down around the lakeshore. There is a separate area in the open that is in the sun....not as pretty. Resort is on Lake Gaston with a marina and motel on property. A new nearby cell tower went up last year which allows us to use Verizon aircard. We usually spend a liesurely week here and look forward to returning....Unless you are boating or fishing there is not much to do in the area. Parking lane in the check in area is very narrow. Go very slow and watch your mirrors.
